HOPE is a multi-issue, grassroots, community organization consisting of 26 multicultural and interfaith member congregations throughout Hillsborough County, Florida.

HOPE’s mission is to promote justice, fairness, and the dignity of people — by engaging and training community members to effectively act together to achieve long-term solutions to serious community problems impacting our families and neighbors.

Mental Health

Creating more permanent supportive housing for those with serious mental illness

Affordable Housing

Building more affordable housing for families and seniors with low incomes, veterans, and those with disabilities. 1,100 homes created since 2019!

Criminal Justice

Stopping the criminalization of poverty by reducing adult misdemeanor traffic arrests/notices to appear for offenses like driving on a suspended license

The Environment

Strengthening stormwater drainage ponds in vulnerable areas using proven green infrastructure
